With roots dating back to 1996—when we launched our first breakthrough product, the MCDR modular data recorder—we have continually pushed the boundaries of measurement and monitoring technologies. The MCDR, capable of acquiring signals from diverse sensors such as thermocouples, strain gauges, and encoders, quickly earned recognition across automotive, industrial, and railway sectors for its innovation and reliability.
In the early 2000s, we took a decisive step forward by entering the field of seismic monitoring. Since then, Lunitek has focused its expertise on developing advanced instruments for structural health monitoring and seismic applications. Today, seismic devices stand at the core of our business, embodying our commitment to safety, precision, and innovation.
Our headquarters are located in Sarzana (Liguria, Italy), near an ancient Roman archaeological site—a setting that reflects our deep respect for history, culture, and the built environment.
