The LTG-Link node is an accelerograph which was conceived for structural monitoring.
The most innovative characteristic of the sensor is that it is completely wireless. The monitoring system is designed so that a central aggregator completely wirelessly synchronizes the nodes to UTC time and collects data.
The on-board triaxial accelerometer allows high-resolution data acquisition with low noise (25 µg/√Hz) and low drift. Additionally, LTG-LINK node embeds a battery which is recharged by a small photovoltaic panel. In bad weather the node can keep on working for up to 30 days.
The Wireless Sensor Network (nodes and aggregator) enables simultaneous, high-speed sensing and data aggregation from scalable sensor networks.
Users can easily program nodes for continuous, periodic burst, or event-triggered sampling using the software included. The optional web-based cloud interface optimizes data aggregation, analysis, presentation, and alerts for sensor data from remote networks.
