LACSC – October 03-05, 2022 – QUITO – ECUADOR

LACSC – Latin American and Caribbean Seismological Commission IV ASSEMBLY

Lunitek with its regional partner Geosis Ingenieria from Bogotá – Colombia, participated in LACSC, the Latin American and Caribbean Seismological Commission IV ASSEMBLY event, in the city of Quito – Ecuador. This important meeting was attended by different public entities and private companies that carry out seismic monitoring activities with national, regional and local networks, volcanological monitoring networks, as well as researchers and experts in seismology from different Latin American countries.

Our stand had a good participation of the different attendees during the 3 days of the event and was attended by Paloma Sandoval (Commercial Manager) and Carlos Lozano (Geosis Engineering Director). Our instruments caught the attention of the attending professionals, highlighting the presentation of the Hermes equipment, Triton Seismographs with different bandwidths, Sentinel GEO and Accelerographs for recording strong ground motion.

What was most appreciated about our products was their versatility, the variety of sensors and digitizers, their design, easy portability, power backup and adaptability in communications. The affordable costs, robustness in their construction and ease of use in permanent networks as well as in temporary monitoring of seismic noise, the possibility of making arrangements for monitoring networks with different equipment configurations, were other aspects that were highlighted during the presentation of the different equipment.
