IWSS2023 – 2nd Italian Workshop on Shell and Spatial Structures 26th – 28th June 2023, CASTELLO DEL VALENTINO – TURIN

The second edition of the event “Italian Workshop on Shell and Spatial Structures” named IWSS2023, will be held in Turin, in the beautiful venue of the “Castello del Valentino” Savoy residence on the banks of the Po River, in the days between June 26 to 28, 2023.
The Conference program will include Invited Lectures and Keynote talks by well-known international and national experts, presentations by researchers of universities, research centers and technical companies.

LACSC / QUITO – ECUADOR, 03-05 October 2022

LACSC – Latin American and Caribbean Seismological Commission IV ASSEMBLY

Lunitek with its regional partner Geosis Ingenieria from Bogotá – Colombia, participated in LACSC, the Latin American and Caribbean Seismological Commission IV ASSEMBLY event, in the city of Quito – Ecuador. This important meeting was attended by different public entities and private companies that carry out seismic monitoring activities with national, regional and local networks, volcanological monitoring networks, as well as researchers and experts in seismology from different Latin American countries.

Our stand had a good participation of the different attendees during the 3 days of the event and was attended by Paloma Sandoval (Commercial Manager) and Carlos Lozano (Geosis Engineering Director). Our instruments caught the attention of the attending professionals, highlighting the presentation of the Hermes equipment, Triton Seismographs with different bandwidths, Sentinel GEO and Accelerographs for recording strong ground motion.

What was most appreciated about our products was their versatility, the variety of sensors and digitizers, their design, easy portability, power backup and adaptability in communications. The affordable costs, robustness in their construction and ease of use in permanent networks as well as in temporary monitoring of seismic noise, the possibility of making arrangements for monitoring networks with different equipment configurations, were other aspects that were highlighted during the presentation of the different equipment.

COMPENG 2022 – WORKSHOP ON COMPLEXITY IN ENGINEERING (Florence, July 18-20, 2022)

On July 20, 2022 we participate in the COMPENG 2022, a workshop organized by the National Institute of Optics (CNR-INO), the Institute of Complex Systems (CNR-ISC), the University of Florence and the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (Florence) in cooperation with the IEEE Italy Section.

COMPENG is a series of international workshops founded in 2010 aimed at providing a forum for experts and professionals working on the latest developments in complexity science and its application in an engineering perspective.
